Jen Morgan

HRD Instructor

Jen Morgan is a founding member of Southwest Panhandle Search and Rescue K9/Emotional First Aid Team (SWPANSAR). She is an Evaluator in Human Remains Detection, Air Scenting, Trailing and SAR TECH III & II for the National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) and a P.O.S.T. Certified Man Tracker. She has thirteen years of experience and has been deployed on 300+ searches with the FBI, Border Patrol, United States Coast Guard and law enforcement agencies on land and on water. She trained and certified her three Australian Shepherds, “Sirius”, “Vision” & “Message” in live find, human remains detection (land and water) with NASAR.

Jen’s team is the recent recipient of the “FBI Directors Community Leadership Award”. She graduated from the FBI Citizens Academy in Mobile, AL, is a member of the FBI Alumni, has attended numerous seminars and classes, ranging from search and rescue techniques, crime scene preservation, NIMS, FEMA courses, HAZ MAT training, Bloodborne Pathogens education, and Red Cross classes on first aid and CPR. She travels around giving presentations to Law Enforcement and other emergency responder groups in Lost Person Behavior, Lost Person Strategies, Components of Search and Rescue and Scent Theory. In addition to her K9 handler duties, Jen is also the President of SWPANSAR.
