Mapping Class

This will be a classroom training focused on map reading skills. We will go over how to read a UTM / USNG map, how to find your location on the map, how to navigate in the field using a map and how to use your compass with your map. We will also be talking about heat related injuries, how to prevent them and what to do if they happen. Location will be at the Pearland Fire Department Training Facility.
