She has written multiple books and taught many classes for law enforcement regarding approaching, assisting, and safely searching for Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Autism cases. This class will be specifically catered towards law enforcement officers (or other emergency personnel) who might encounter a missing Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or Autistic person.

– How to recognize (signs/ symptoms)
– Assessing threat/ combativeness regarding a person with dementia/ Alzheimer’s or autism
– Best way to safely contain, or restrain these cases
– What specific unique questions to ask the family of a missing person to better the search tactics
– What is different about searching for an Alzheimer’s, Dementia or Autism cases, and how to change the tactics
