Sirius was adopted by his handler Justin O’Keefe from League City Animal Care and joined Alpha SAR in June 2019. Sirius became Justin’s second canine when his first, Duchess retired. Through his training, Sirius has shown what it takes to become an HRD canine for search and rescue. When at home, Sirius loves to be the center of attention and is always down for a good game of tug-of-war.
